Dimitris Geranios is a Psychologist (BSc) and Relational Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist (Pgd).
He graduated from the Psychology Department of the University of Crete.
He has completed his training in the Master's Diploma of Specialization in Psychotherapy based on "Cognitive Analytical Model, the Dialectical Self and Relational Psychotherapy"
of the Institute of Relational & Group Psychotherapy.
He has completed the annual training program for the specialization in the mental health of LGBT people of the organization Orlando LGBT.
He holds a Pedagogical Proficiency having successfully completed the program of the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (ASPAITE).
He is a member of the International Association of Relational Psychoanalysis & of Psychotherapy (IARPP) as well as the American Group Therapists Association (AGPA).
He believes that the modern professional must be educated throughout his life and attends educational seminars, conferences and workshops organized in Greece and abroad.
Today he is psychotherapist for adults and adolescents, under ongoing supervision, individual and group psychotherapy.
According to the principles of Relational Psychotherapy, the way in which relationships with others have been shaped both in the past and in the present plays a decisive role in behavior.
Thus, analyst and analysand, we work through the quality of the relationship that develops. We utilize experiences, feelings and perceptions which are conscious or unconscious and emerge-analyzed in the "here and now" of the therapeutic act.
